Donations were collected for two projects: "Participate Now", which works with women with AIDS in Zanzibar. They help the women build small businesses so they can continue to support themselves and theirr familes.
"School Angels" is a project that is building a school for Burmese refugees who have crossed the border into Thailand and live in refugee camps there.

We raised close to $200.00 worth the bracelets sold. I had Beads for Life bracelets from Uganda available for purchase with proceeds going to Beads for Life. We also each brought a food item for Feed Nova Scotia and gathered 25 kg in total to donate.

Sundale, the retirement village, was absolute fun as every resident who was there enjoyed immensely our Belly dancers' performance including all the visitors. There were approx 40 residents and probably 20 carers, 8 dancers and quite a few visitors who thought that this was the best thing and that it injected some life into the place.
