How did you hear about World Belly Dance and what inspired you to participate?

What does Belly Dance mean for you?
Belly dance is a part of me. It is no more a hobby or work.
What message about Belly Dance would you like to send to those that have not started dancing yet?
"Come and try the classes with me, then you know what it is all about" Seriously, I would tell them that this is the only dance that makes any and every women beautiful and sensual no matter what age, size and shape she is. It is a mental and physical therapy for all women!!!"

I have done a lot of dancing all my life. I teach belly dance, Bollywood, and Polynesian dances. But my passion is in belly dance. I have studied belly dance informally in Sydney and formally in Hong Kong and from many Egyptian master teachers. I have also studied Polynesian and African culture and dances from University of NSW in Sydney. I have also studied Kathak and Bharathnatyam. I am a mom with 2 boys and married. I am a Managing Director in Information Technology company. I own my company. I and my husband run my company together. I have also studied costume designing, beauty therapy, Image consulting and fitness training. They all help me immensely with my dancing.
